Christofle Gilt Sugar Tongs in Original Box

A small pair of Christofle tongs, gilded all over and still in their original green Christofle box. 

The arms are cast with fine reeding and a ribbon-and-leaf detail. They end in tiny shell-shaped bowls sized for a cube of sugar, an olive, or anything else you'd rather not pick up with your fingers. The gilt is warm and bright, and the Christofle square mark is stamped on the arm.

They're the sort of detail that makes a tea tray or bar cart look like someone planned it.
