Shop Policies
Live Sales
Please tune into the beginning of each live sale to hear instructions on how the same will work. If you join later and are unsure of the procedures, please ask before participating and we will be more than happy to explain. In live sales, a claim is a commitment to purchase. Please send me a direct message after the sale with your name and contact information. I will confirm your purchase and send you an invoice through Shopify. For some items, I will include shipping as part of a one-step payment method. For larger or more fragile items, I will do a two-step payment method once the item is wrapped and shipping costs are determined. All invoices must be paid within 24 hours or the item will be put back in inventory to be sold.
All purchases are final purchase and not returnable or refundable, so please ask any additional questions you may have prior to purchase.
Disclaimers
Please keep in mind that the majority of items sold are vintage or antique and are not new items so may have minor flaws due to age. We do our best to provide you with as many details as possible in our listings and during our live sales. Given items can sometimes be 100+ years sold, they could show signs of age or wear and it is up to the buyer to carefully read descriptions and view products prior to purchase. We will always note any major disclaimers.
Shipping & Open Boxes
I will automatically add shipping insurance (and pass along those costs) to all items over $100 to protect both of us in case of damage during transit. In the rare occasion an item does break during transit, please message me right away and I will ask for specific pictures necessary for me to submit a claim. Please keep all shipping materials and the item itself until we have finalized the claim. I will always work with my customers to ensure any issues that arise are resolved.
My current shipping turnaround time is 2 weeks. I work hard to offer you the lowest rates available for shipping, however, my priority is to get your items to you safely, so I will always choose the safest shipping based upon the item(s) purchased. Please keep in mind that we do not profit off of shipping costs, so the shipping costs billed to you are pass-through expenses. Please ensure you are prepared to pay the higher shipping costs on items prior to making a claim, especially ones that are large and heavy. We may choose to use professional shippers for items that may be challenging to personally ship and those costs will be passed along to the buyer.
Local Pick Up
If you are doing local pick up, please make sure you pick up items within 30 days of purchase. I will provide the pick up address when we coordinate logistics. Local pick up will be coordinated between myself and the buyer and is available only on Mondays, Fridays and weekends, preferably coordinated at least 24 hours in advance. Items left beyond 30 days will be put back into inventory and considered abandoned unless we have spoken directly and I have approved an extended pick-up window.
Open Boxes
I am happy to keep open boxes upon request, but they must be closed within 30 days. I do not automatically keep open boxes, so please contact me prior to invoicing if you would like to keep one open.
KY Sales Tax
Kentucky is a destination sales tax state. If you are a resident of Kentucky, all purchases are subject to the state sales tax and will be included in your invoice. This includes items that are purchased from my booth through the Crestwood Mercantile.
