Mounted on pale blue linen, each deep crimson seal bears a distinct aristocratic impression — three featuring heraldic coat-of-arms crests topped with coronets, and one bearing an entwined monogram beneath a crown.
The seals show the natural age and character one would expect from 19th-century correspondence wax, with rich color and fine detail still intact. A wonderful piece of French ephemera that speaks to a world of noble correspondence, sealed letters, and aristocratic life.
