Live Sales
Please tune into the beginning of each live sale to hear instructions on how the sale will work. If you join later and are unsure of the procedures, please ask before participating and we will be happy to explain.
In live sales, a claim is a commitment to purchase. In the case of multiple claims, Swan Hill Home reserves the right to make the final determination to ensure fairness for all participants.
Please send me a direct message after the sale with your name and contact information. I will confirm your purchase and send you an invoice through Shopify.
For most items, I will include shipping as part of a one-step payment method. For larger or more fragile items, I will use a two-step payment method once the item is wrapped and shipping costs are determined.
All invoices must be paid within 24 hours or the item will be put back in inventory to be sold. Repeated non-payment or backing out of claims may result in removal from future live sales.
Shipping
All purchases are final sale and not returnable or refundable, so please ask any additional questions you may have prior to purchase. We will note any major disclaimers. Please note that most everything we sell is vintage or antique and minor wear is to be expected. Items are sold as-is and reflect their age and history. Variations, patina, and minor imperfections are part of their character and not considered defects.
I will automatically add shipping insurance and pass along those costs to all items over $100 to protect both of us in case of damage during transit. In the rare occasion an item does break during transit, please message me right away and I will ask for specific pictures necessary to submit a claim. Please keep all shipping materials and the item itself until the claim is finalized. I will always take care of my customers to ensure any issues are resolved.
Once a package has been transferred to the carrier, shipping timelines are outside of our control. Please ensure your shipping address is correct at checkout, as Swan Hill Home is not responsible for packages delivered to incorrect addresses provided by the customer.
Local pickup will be coordinated between myself and the buyer and is available only on Fridays and weekends, coordinated in advance.
My current shipping turnaround time is approximately 2 weeks. I work hard to offer you the lowest rates available for shipping, however my priority is to get your items to you safely, so I will always choose the safest shipping method based on the item.
