Antique French Salvaged Bronze Bow Furniture Mount with Hanging Tassel

A small antique French bronze furniture mount, salvaged from a piece of furniture or decorative object. Cast in an ornate bow motif with looping ribbon ends, the piece features a hanging tasseled drop suspended below the bow. The metal has darkened to a rich, heavily oxidized patina, giving it a moodier, more weathered character than a brighter gilt finish. The piece measures approximately 2.5 inches wide by 2 inches high.

Found in Paris, this small architectural salvage piece is a wonderful addition to a collection of antique hardware fragments, or can be displayed on its own as a decorative accent on a shelf or in a shadow box.
