French Crystal Lighter / Trinket Box

A beautiful French crystal piece with a wonderfully sculptural form, featuring deeply cut diamond detailing, a domed faceted top, and an ornate gilt-metal band. Originally designed as a table lighter, this piece has since been converted into a decorative vessel and could be restored back into a lighter if desired.

I especially love its versatility now: it works beautifully as a small trinket box, jewelry box, vanity object, or simply as a decorative crystal piece layered into a vignette. The cut crystal catches the light in the prettiest way, giving it that jewel-like presence that feels both elegant and unexpected.

The piece has two small chips on the top, which are shown in the photos and reflected in the condition. Still a gorgeous and highly decorative object with plenty of charm and function.
