Czech glassmaking has a rich history dating back to the medieval period, with Bohemian glass becoming particularly renowned for its quality and artistry. During the late 19th and early 20th centuries, Czech glassmakers produced a wide array of decorative objects, including perfume bottles, that were exported worldwide. These bottles often featured intricate filigree work, vibrant colors, and elaborate jeweled embellishments. This particular one is missing its glass tip as pictured, however, the rest of the bottle is in excellent condition. This beautiful piece features green glass jewels and ormulu!
These perfume bottles were highly sought after during the Art Deco era, prized for their elegance and craftsmanship. The use of colored glass, combined with intricate metalwork and gemstone accents, reflects the opulent aesthetic of the period.
