A beautifully romantic antique German encased glass opaline box, featuring a luminous white textured body with a delicate hand-painted medallion on the lid. The top depicts a charming floral scene with two birds, likely symbolizing joy and happiness, framed by a gilt border that gives the piece a soft, decorative elegance.
The box is finished with warm brass-toned mounts, including a scalloped keyhole plate at the front and decorative banding around the body.
