This exquisite antique oyster plate was crafted in France by the esteemed Haviland & Co. of Limoges, renowned for their exceptional porcelain. Delicately shaped with a scalloped rim and adorned in a soft Rococo floral motif, this piece features intricate garlands of pastel blooms, winding gilded scrolls, and romantic accents throughout.

With five wells for oysters and a central well for sauce, the plate is both functional and ornate. Gilded edges add a touch of opulence, while the hand-applied floral transferware speaks to the elegance of the Belle Époque era.

Marked on the reverse with the Haviland France green mark and the red retailer stamp for E. Offner of New Orleans, this piece is a beautiful example of imported luxury wares from the late 19th to early 20th century.
